Happy Valentine's Day...almost!

Well, Brooke has several Valentine's outfits which we pulled out over the weekend! She looked soooo stinkin' adorable in them that I had to post for all to see! Thank you to Miss Joan for the Valentine's card full of quarters (paying Brooke for all the kisses she got Saturday night!).

Visit from Grammy & Grandpa

Last night Joel's folks, Tom & Calla, came over for dinner and to see Brooke. We had a great time catching up and they enjoyed seeing all the fun things Brooke does now...which basically consists of smiling. :-) We also called Tom's dad, Brooke's Great-Grandpa, because it was his 91st birthday!

New toys

This post is mainly for Nana - look how well the new toys fit on the old bouncer! They are closer to her face then in the one at your house, but she still likes looking at them!

Trip to Indy

This past weekend we went to Indianapolis for a long weekend with my folks. We had a great time shopping, eating and just hanging out at their new house. We also decided while we were there that my mom is now going to be called Nana. :-)

On Saturday morning, we met my basketball coach from high school, Scott Ice, and his kids at McDonalds. They live in Muncie. I couldn't believe how big the kids are now...kinda made me feel old. They have an ADORABLE little girl, Emilee, who looks just like her Mommy. :-)
Here's Pops and Nana with their favorite little girl! She was a bit spoiled over the weekend!
This picture represents alot of history. Brooke's Great-Grandma slept in this crib first, then her Nana (my mom) slept in it occasionally, then she got it for Rosa & my nursery. Now it has been completely redone and reside in Indy and Brooke officially became the fourth generation to sleep in it! Nana made the cute bumper pads!
Whew! The busy weekend is over! Brooke did amazing on the plane rides...in fact, she slept through landing back here in KC! Here she's taking a nap with her Aunt Rosa!
