It's been ages since I last posted...mainly because I'm pretty sure everyone is now my friend on Facebook. But if you are not, Brooke has big news!
She is going to be a big sister in March!!!
Mommy, Daddy and Brooke are so excited and cannot wait to meet the newest member of our family.

Paradise Park

Today we met some friends at Paradise Park here in Lee's Summit. We had never been and Brooke had a great time in spite of the fact that she busted her eye right before we went.

She knows what a cow says and had fun playing with the cows!!!

This was most certainly the favorite activity! The water table! She splashed and splashed and splashed.

Here is the gang we went with - all 5 kids had a blast!

And by here, you can see just how wet she was in spite of the little vest thingy. :-)

Coloring

Brooke is learning how to color and her Mommy is so excited! It's a great thing for her to do while I'm getting ready to go or fixing dinner. We obviously got the kind that only color on certain paper as I don't want her to color our whole house! :-) What a big girl!!!

The all-new Bass Pro

The Independence Bass Pro opened Wednesday night and we took Brooke this afternoon. We have a trophy deer hanging in our living room and Brooke knows exactly what it is. Needless to say, this made Brooke LOVE all the stuffed mounts at Bass Pro. She did nothing but point at all the dead things...this side of her must be from the Tucker's. :-)
If you're in town and want to see the new Bass Pro - call us - we'll take you!

This cool chair was in the foyer!

Brooke and her daddy looking out the floor to ceiling windows at the cool lake!

Sitting on a cool bench on the 2nd story.

So this was the look on her face practically the entire time - she loved the dead stuff! :-) Pops, she is standing in front of the #1 Bass Pro stock car that is at the store right now.

Mommy & Brooke in front of the Bass Pro midget car - this pic is for Pops.
This car sits in front of the full-size restaurant at the back of the store. There was a huge salt-water fish tank in the restaurant.

Update

So, once again, I haven't posted in a while. Brooke LOVES our cat, Molly...the cat only loves Brooke sometimes!

This is Brooke's normal face in the car seat...notice she's wriggled one arm out of the strap.

But, being my daughter, she's all smiles when the camera comes out! :-)

Update

Been a little while since we posted and today it's Nana's birthday...don't ask how many...so we thought today would be a good day to update.

The first haircut was interesting. She did great at first but ended up screaming her head off and clinging to Mommy.

Ahhhh! She loves her Daddy!

It was nice outside this past weekend...so we took the new trike outside and she loved riding it on the driveway!

Here are some shots in Brooke's Valentines outfit with Mommy's anniversary roses. Good timing, huh!?!?!? :-)

Visit from Nana & Pops

A few weeks back Nana & Pops came for the weekend to help organize and move all our stuff from our basement to the attic. Here are some snapshots from the weekend.

Mommy & Daddy's Anniversary

So I know this site is suppose to be for Brooke, but this past weekend we went to Jeff City and dropped Brooke off with her Nana & Pops and headed to a B&B for our anniversary. It was a huge house overlooking the Osage River and was a gorgeous place to stay.
The house & barn were both over 100 years old, but had been very nicely restored.
Here are some cool shots from the weekend.

View from our second story balcony.

It's hard to believe we've been married 4 years. but it's been so much fun. Living your life with your best friend is unbelievable!!!

Christmas 2007

Everyone told us that Christmas is more fun when a kid is involved...it's totally true!!!! We had so much fun this Christmas season with Brooke. She knew what presents are from her recent birthday and attacked with a vengeance on Christmas morning. She is a little spoiled but we all enjoyed watching her open her presents.

Elmo was in Brooke's stocking!!!

Aunt Rosa and Brooke both got cool, pink Nike water bottles in their stockings...can you see the excitement?

Christmas morning presents!!!!

Brooke loves her new tent with balls in it!!! She loves to run in and out of it.

Santa (aka Darrell Brammer) even stopped in for a visit on Christmas morning. Brooke wasn't too excited about him though. She had the death grip on her daddy during the whole visit!

A night on the plaza

Mommy & Brooke went to the plaza one, cold Sunday evening with Aunt Rosa. We had dinner at Buca's and then walked around looking at the lights and drinking some Starbucks. It was a lot of fun and Brooke did really well during our 2 hour long dinner!

HA! Look how Aunt Rosa made Brooke be closer to the big dog than her...Rosa hates big dogs...like Brooke was going to protect her or something!

Shopping at Gap!!!

Hanging out with Mommy in the SNOW!!!

A bit behind

So, my mom informed me I'm behind on my postings...so hold your britches...I'm catching up today.
These are from Brooke's first birthday. She got a cool bounce - n - spin zebra from Nana & Pops and a Nativity set from Aunt Rosa.

Eating the yummy cupcake with Aunt Rosa...she LOVED it!!!

It was an unseasonably warm day on her birthday so we took her to the park for a little while.
